214B STREET SEWER LIFT STATION UPGRADES, TOWNSHIP OF LANGLEY

Description: Upgrade of an existing sanitary pump station. A new 1.8m diameter FRP lift station was inserted into the existing steel station which was decommissioned and had the top cut off. Work was done with a bypass pump system managing the flows while the station was off line. The scope of work also included supply and install of a new electrical kiosk.
CAPILANO BOOSTER PUMP/ MAINLINE PROJECT, CAPILANO GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, WEST VANCOUVER

Description: Approximately 800m of new irrigation piping and valving was installed, complete with a new booster pump building and an internal mechanical package. Pipe sizing ranged from 150mm to 250mm and was a mixture of ductile iron and C900 PVC. Parts of the new installation required rock removal and blasting. The work was done during the winter months when the golf course was mostly shut down.
CROSS CREEK SINK HOLE EMERGENCY WORKS, DISTRICT OF WEST VANCOUVER

Description: Emergency repair of high use road following wash out after heavy rainfall. Creek bypassed with continuous running of 12” diesel pump while the damaged 900mm concrete pipe and intake headwall were replaced and repaired. Excavation to 4m depth to replace pipe required significant water infiltration management. Traffic management required throughout project.
CLIVEDEN AVENUE SANITARY PUMP STATION UPGRADE, CITY OF DELTA

Description: Upgrade of existing sanitary concrete wet well pump station, including wet-well relining with HDPE panels, installation of new stainless-steel piping, a new FRP platform and a new lid with an aluminum hatch. Supply and installation of a new precast below ground chamber for all the 200mm valves and piping, and a new electrical kiosk. A two location bypass pumping system was operated and maintained for duration of eight month project.
CEDAR DRIVE PUMP STATION & SEWER MAINS, CITY OF COQUITLAM.
Owner: City of Coquitlam.
Description: Construction of a new concrete wet well to a depth of 12 m below grade. The extensive sheet pile shoring required was installed by our own forces. The wet well was cast-in-place concrete and was sunk as a caisson. A separate concrete valve chamber and a stand-alone electrical utility building were also built. Directional drilling was used to install 700m of 350mm diameter and 350m of 450mm diameter HDPE pipe at a depth of up to 8m below grade. Open cut trenching was used to install 30m of 500mm diameter PVC gravity pipe at a depth of 10m below grade.
BATH SLOUGH CANAL BANK & PEDESTRIAN PATH REPAIR, CITY OF RICHMOND. Owner: City of Richmond.
Description: Supply and installation of 60 m of 30ft long H2607-700ft sheet piles along the Bath Slough embankment for soil stabilization. Included in the works were the installation of 60 m of a new wooden fence, a pedestrian pathway, and restoration plants.
REMEDIATION OF THE SOUTHLANDS TIDE GATE, CITY OF VANCOUVER
Owner: City of Vancouver.
Description: Two sites, Blenheim and Carrington,required the supply and replacement of two existing tide gates with new stainless-steel gates of 48" and 36". The replacement of the gates required installation of a drainage bypass system and was performed during the fisheries window and low tide periods. The third location, Dunbar, required the replacement of an existing outfall trash rack with a new galvanized rack. Work was done during low tide periods. Installation of the heavy new trash rack was done by helicopter as access was limited.
32nd PRV STATION REPLACEMENT, CITY OF SURREY

Description: Supply and installation of a new ground PRV complete with steel enclosure kiosk and associated electrical controls and instrumentation. Inlet and outlet piping is 250 mm stainless steel.
